About myself-Personal
I was brought up and educated as a Roman Catholic, which gave me a belief in the importance of a spiritual connection, whether individual or within a religion.
I travelled for two years in my early twenties, and lived in both Greece
and Turkey. The travel widened my sense of independent, personal morality, helping me to meet with difference in a way which embraced
it rather than withdrawing. I discovered that the Western and Christian way of looking at the world was just one of many.
Spiritually I have travelled from Catholicism, through attending Quaker meetings, to settling as a fellow traveller within Buddhism.
I very much enjoy being out of doors, rock climbing, walking, kayaking, sailing, and diving.
I appreciate the challenge of the new, whether it is meeting different cultures in travelling or through education. I have looked to find a way
of expressing my creativity in pottery and painting, and drama. My
interest in drama has led me to explore psychodrama, and I currently
offer Constellation Workshops.
